  First time visit. Pleasantly surprised. From the commercials I thought it would be rubbish. They have an online order app and if I had to pull up and read that entire menu I'd be there for a week. The corn dog was a blast from childhood, in a good way, as was the pretzel stick. The chocolate shake left much to be desired...VERY little chocolate & tasted plasticy.
  
  May return, but since I'm seldom in Latham, we update not go out of my way. Also, if traveling East on Rte 7, entry is practically impossible.

  This has to be the most poorly run Sonic in the U.S.A.
  
  Not the Capital Region.
  
  Not the State of New York.
  
  The entire country.
  
  As I am writing this I have waited 20 minutes for a Chili Dog.
  
  I have come here and waited 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge me at the car hop window and the drive in window.
  
  I could see an employee through the drive in window eating ice cream. Perhaps she could be helping make my chili dog?
  
  Whoever the regional manager is you need to do one of those undercover boss deals. You would probably be shocked at how inefficient this Sonic is.

  My first dine in Sonic!!! Super cool (I thought)! I didn't even know they existed! Very clean in the inside looks like any typical fast food spot... He was wiping down all the seats when I walked in which was good. They also have the drive up option as well where you ring the button and they bring your food out to you. A big location! It was happy hour so we came for the slushie! If you are passing by one and it's between 2 to 4 pl stop by? Half price slushies and now after 8pm you can get half off shakes. Good deal for a sweet treat or an easy fast food option. My husband's favorite is the cranberry limeade slushie however I he was not impressed with it here. And the ice is my fav type of ice. The wait for a one beverage order was pretty ridiculous. No one was in front of us in the line but why did we wait so long?! Thankfully we were not in a rush but it was pretty ridiculous and then when I asked about our one liquid beverage he tells me he will go get it in just a second and then comes out with it?! What in the world lol. I'm confused. Went back later for  happy hour (all about second chances :))again at 8 pm the same day when the shakes we're half off! The drive thru was long so we pulled into one of the stalls to order from the car and have the order brought out but guess what the ice machine was down so no ice cream or any drinks involving ice we're available! That's horrible ! The drinks are far better than the food so that should be your focus to have that working ! And after all that we were nicely told we would have to go through the line because the stall was no longer open lol. Even more confused.

  Came here for only my second time (first time was when they first opened) to try this place again. I arrived for breakfast at 9:15, only to discover they open for 10AM. Why have a breakfast menu if you don't open before 10?
  
  Came back later after running errands and there was nobody behind the counter. Multiple employees came in while I was waiting in line and finally someone came out. I ordered the regular sausage burrito meal, wishing to try it again. When I first had it a couple of years ago, it tasted weird and they used a strange sliced sausage. Within 10 minutes my food came out and they now use regular pebbly sausage. The burrito was huge. I could barely eat it all and I skipped lunch! I won't knock them for that, but seriously how can it only be 450 calories?
  
  There was a manager interviewing a new employee who was disgruntled about her previous job. They sat in the middle of the room and everyone could hear the manager discuss her store's problems, and the potential employee's checkered past. It was awkward eating, and I hurried up and left.
  
  It was cheap and filling. That being said, they have stupid breakfast hours, getting in isn't easy, the staff weren't friendly when I was there, and the food wasn't anything special. I won't be back.

  Worst service anywhere. Doesn't matter whether you are waiting at the drive through at 4:30 PM or go inside the restaurant after 8, you'll wait for over 20 minutes. Tonight, I took my son to get an ice cream sandwich and small shake. Over half an hour wait, while others got full meals, shakes. Only when he asked for a refund did the manager come out and yet another 5 minutes did he get his order. Absolutely outrageous. The manager did apologize, but this will be the last time we go to Sonic. Unfortunately, we've had this experience every time at this Sonic. From now on, we will patronize mom and pop type places or make our own at home. Very disappointing experience.
